Este taller tiene como premisa el ejercicio fotográfico en una obra poética emergente. Se ofrecen herramientas claves para aquellos que deseen emprender el proyecto de agudizar el ojo poético a partir de la captura de la imagen y su posterior revelado, conociendo a fondo el proceso de laboratorio literario. Se generarán acercamientos a la obra de importantes poetas (Gonzalo Millán, William Carlos Williams, Claudio Bertoni) y fotógrafos (Sergio Larraín, Henri Cartier Bresson) enmarcados en la interrelación imagen-poema, vinculando esta estética con el cine y consultando escritores que han publicado estudios fundamentales al respecto. Finalmente el taller contempla la creación poética a partir de estas experiencias aprendidas generando así nuevas capacidades y una nueva forma de mirar dentro del oficio del poeta.
El profesor es poeta y bibliotecario, ha recibido variadas distinciones, becas e invitaciones a eventos literarios, tiene 3 libros publicados y varias inclusiones en antologías chilenas y extranjeras, y escribe una columna mensual en la revista Escáner Cultural (http://www.escaner.cl/).
